About EAMA

Collaboration

East Africa Maritime Awards (EAMA) is a strategic initiative of the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), in collaboration with other anchor stakeholders. Now in its 2nd Edition, EAMA 2020 follows the inaugural event held in 2018 where a total of 24 winning entries were awarded the coveted trophies and certifications.

Awards

The awards aim to set performance standards by encouraging port users towards a more collaborative approach to regional trade while taking cognizance of the praiseworthy achievements by individual players. EAMA Awards is targeting the maritime community, both individuals and organizations in Eastern Africa that endeavor to strengthen and grow their services at the Port of Mombasa.

Target Audience

The list includes importers and exporters, shipping lines and agents, cargo consolidators, clearing and forwarding agents and warehousing companies, CFS operators, partner government agencies, transporters, dry and liquid bulk cargo operators, provider of support services among others.

Our judging criteria

The objective is to spur players in the industry into meeting and surpassing set regulatory standards, adopting best practice on respective service delivery and fostering competitiveness.

The EAMA 2020 Awards Gala night is scheduled for Friday, 21st May 2021 in Mombasa, Kenya
